I first met Erin at Portland State when I was around 22 years old. We had an English class together and she asked me to join her group for a project we were doing for class. She came off bright but was shy at first but the more I got to know the more I realized she was far from shy. Our friendship grew and before long we were dating and before I know it I fell in love with her. She had a way of being so sweet, yet so harsh. But she was unbelievably great company. She was an extremely...

I was fortunate to have known Erin well, and I am deeply saddened by her loss. Those who were lucky enough to know Erin knew that she was a kind, funny, creative, and wonderful person to be around. What I really loved about Erin was her desire to live life fully. She was always trying new things and taking on new adventures. Erin was a very dear friend of mine whom I meant while attending Lake Oswego High School my junior and senior year. She was outgoing, fun, bubbly, sweet, and very talented both physically and academically. She was one of the few people I kept in touch with from high school over the years. We both had our adventures, Erin included living in Hawaii! No matter where we went or what we did, we always stayed in touch. Erin made a point of that. She was very caring and sincere. I will miss our deep...

My heart and prayers are going out to the friends and family of Erin. As a child I went to grade school, junior high and high school with Erin. I remember looking up to her for her talent on the soccer field (we tried to keep up with her but she was far more talented then we were). Erin was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. She was a friend that I will never forget. I hope Erin has found peace and I know she is up there among the angels looking down on all of the people who loved her...

Darrel and I were so saddened to hear about Erin. She will always be remembered as a wonderful person who was a friend, classmate to both our girls and a great soccer player.
