Erin was my first and oldest friend. It was love at first sight in1966 and I followed her everywhere. She was the brave one and created many adventures throughout our childhood, leg shaving and makeup in puberty, fierce loyalty, love for animals and old people, parenthood and marriage, she led the way.She married my husbands lifelong best friend and I always felt that was the natural order of the universe.
