Erma Mae Elliott, age 77, of Flint, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Willowbrook Manor in Flint after a long illness.
She was born on August 4, 1936 in Chandler Township to the late Walter and Edna (Eisinger) Dorsch.
Erma was united in marriage to Albert W. Elliott on August 27, 1955 in Pigeon, Michigan. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2006.
She enjoyed reading, embroidery, going to craft shows and baking and cooking for her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann (Martin) Carry of Chatham, IL and Nancy (Richard) Buck of Flint, MI; two grandchildren, Megan Amelia Carry of Manhattan, KS and Brian Michael Wagner of Mt. Pleasant, MI; one brother in-law, James (Ardith) Elliott of Clio, MI; two sisters in-law, Anna (Willard) Cregeur of Kinde, MI and Bernice (Ronald) Spindler of Beaverton, MI; many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to her wonderful neighbors, Ronald and Carol Bryant for their love and support during the last few years. The family would like to also thank McLaren Hospice and caring staff at Willowbrook Manor.
Erma was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Dorsch and Adolph Dorsch.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the MacAlpine Funeral Home, 302 N. Hanselman St. Bad Axe, MI 48413.
A gathering for family and friends will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the funeral home.
