Erma Jean Lee was born on December 30, 1939, to James & Annie Newbill Lee in Clayton, LA. She attended Sevier High school. On June 18, 1959, Jean married Isaac Hadnot in Mossville, LA and to this union six children were born. She worked and retired from Calcasieu Cameron hospital after 33 years as a Housekeeping Supervisor.  She was one of the most beautiful people anyone could have met; beauty inside and out. She was the true meaning of a humble and caring person. She always had a peaceful spirit and was always a joy to be around.



 



She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Annie Newbill Lee; six brothers, James Green, Willie James Lee, Charles Ray Lee, Larry Lee, Kenneth Lee, and James Lee Jr.; one sister, Shirley Beverly and two great grandchildren, Miracle Hadnot and NacKenzie Sonnier.



 



On Sunday, June 11, 2017, at 8:15 a.m., God sent one of his flower bearers to come pick His beautiful rose named Erma Jean Lee Hadnot.



 



She leaves to cherish her humble and caring spirit, her husband of 58 years, Isaac Hadnot of Mossville, LA; three sons, Darrell Hadnot and Cedric Hadnot of Mossville, LA and Eyphit (Charlotte) Hadnot of Westlake, LA; three daughters, Cheryl Hadnot and Lisa (Winnfield) Jolivette both of Lake Charles, LA and Cassandra (San) Hadnot of Sulphur, LA; five sisters, Jenny Mae Lee Johnson of Lake Charles, LA, Lillian Lee Stewart, Augustine Lee Baker, Queen Lee Williams, and Samanthia Lee all of Kenner, LA; one brother, Melvin Lee of Kenner, LA; 26 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren with an additional one on the way, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



 



Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 12:00 p.m., at House of Prayer, 920 Harrison Street, Westlake, LA, Pastor Nathaniel Ledet, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery in Mossville, LA, under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
