DECATUR - Erma J. Johns, 77, of Decatur, IL passed away on Saturday (Aug. 27, 2011) at St. Mary's Hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 31, 2011) at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Kidney Foundation. She married Richard E. Johns on January 31, 1959. Surviving is her husband: Richard E. Johns of Decatur, IL; brothers: Merle Pierce of Decatur, IL and Lenny Pierce of Springfield, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Thomas, sisters: Opal, Violet Nancy and Millie and a special thanks to DaVita Dialysis Center on Wood Street for the care Erma received.
