Not sure what to say?

Dear Don and Becki, I was so very saddened to come home from out of state and find that I would no longer be able to visit with Erma. I so appreciated her and the friend she was to my mom while at Maria Angelica. Erma was such a sweet, sweet lady and I truly enjoyed our chats. I'm so sorry I wasn't here to show my support at her memorial. You and your families are in my prayers. Sincerely, Marie's daughter Linda.

Erma was a very good friend to me. I loved working with her at First Presbyterian Church. She loved the Lord, had a strong moral compass, expressed her opinions freely and was hilarious. She and I had so many good talks about her late husband, "roughin' it" at her cabin, and we shared many prayers. She was a hard working woman and I adored her. My daughters, Sharalynn and Karissa loved "Grandma Erma." She made their visits to Mom's work fun and special. Erma will always be in my heart until...

I remember Erma from 1st Presbyterian church in Anchorage. She was never too busy to help and always had a smile. I will always remember her demonstrating Tae-Kwon-Do in the church narthex. She was awesome!!

Erma was a bright spot in the office at First Presbyterian in Anchorage. She always had a joke and a smile. She will be missed!

My condelences with sincerity to the family, I have so much respect & love for alaskans that had homesteaded in Alaska in the early years. even with modern facilities & income. I still fish, hunt and live off the land as seasons come & go. it gives so much pleasure and makes us the person we are as she is known. I know you had learned a great deal from her, some of us may not be lawyers or doctors but so much to offer in other very important things in life, as she has. she made her journey...

We will always remember Christmas with Erma, she made us so very welcome in her home. Each of us were made to feel special. We are honored to have known her. With love and sympathy,
Ted, Barb, Amy and David Smith
