Erna (nee Robowski) Huff, age 86, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Trail Creek Place.
Erna was born February 20, 1930 in Michigan City to Ernest and Helen (Fedder) Robowski who preceded her in death. She was married on December 28, 1946 to Harold Jerry Huff who preceded her in death in 2002.
Erna is survived by her children: Kathy (Calvin) Riddle of Michigan City, Keith (Sharon) Huff of Michigan City, Kurt Huff of Las Vegas, NV, Kenneth (Jeanne) Huff of Michigan City and Klaudia (Tom) Tatarski of Michigan City; twelve grandchildren: Shelley Mowinski, Chad Mowinski, Elizabeth Bartholomew, Shann Moore, Shaine Moore, Lisa Kraemer, Jenna Vrooman, Brent Huff, Ryan Huff, Shawn Hardesty and Natalie Kanger; one granddaughter: Megan Tatarski preceded her in death. Also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren. Erna was also preceded in death by sister: Anita Bunton and brother: Herman Robowski.
Erna worked for Superior Loan Co. for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, and bowling. Erna loved her cats: Rosebud and Rusty. Erna was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #2536 Auxilliary, serving as the cancer chairman officer. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Barnes of Faith City Assembly of God officiating. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Burial at sea will take place, where Erna will rest with her husband.
Erna’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Trail Creek Place and Harbor Light Hospice.

So sorry that I just found out of the passing of Erna. I'm sure she was greeted at the Pearly Gates with open arms, not only by Our Lord, but by all who have past before her. It's hard to loose a loved one from this world, but the next World will be the Best Place to meet again. God Bless All.
