I was so sorry to hear of the death of Erna, she was one great lady and did much to help me on my career path, I will always be grateful to her. God Bless Erna and her family

Erna was a friend of both my Mother (Elaine Draves) and myself. I met Erna back in the 1970's when I was a student at Kishwaukee College. She was my first boss (I was a work-study secretary for her during my semesters at Kishwaukee). Her encouragement, enthusiasm, and love for people and learning always stand out in my memory. Erna was an unforgettable colleague of mine at Kishwaukee College. I have always remembered her verve and enthusiasm, and most of all her generous spirit. She was so devoted to helping her students succeed.

Erna on Christmas 2009

Erna was such a GREAT person!!! I never met a person who did not like and Erna deffinately loved everyone! In my lifetime I can count on one hand the number of fantastic mentors I have had. Erna is by far at the top of the list. I first met Erna in the mid 70's while I was still in high school, taking classes at Kishwaukee. Erna taught me to love school and the real estate world. Over the years Erna and I had a couple of real estate deals and on all occations the turned out great. ...

Those of us at Milner & Associates Commercial Real Estate in DeKalb have many very fond memories of Erna when she sold real estate. She was very caring, helpful, and self-less with clients and others in need.

To the family of Erna...My deepest sympathies. What a wonderful person she was and she will be missed. She was such a great inspiration to everyone she met.
