Dear Susie and Family,

Bless you all at this time. Your Mother was such an upbeat person and made everyone feel they had known her forever. And, yes, I too have snowflakes and think of her everytime I open their box. They were a gift to me from my own Mother, who also thought the world of Erna. Take care.

Sending my condolences on the loss of your mother. Oddly enough, I think of her often, as I have a little ornament on display that she made. My mother (Doris Willett) gave it to me years ago.
I wish you all peace. I know how hard it is losing one's parents.

At Christmastime, we wait with great anticipation to take out our Christmas decorations. Tucked away in a special box is a beautiful set of handmade Christmas ornaments made by Erna and given to us as a wedding gift in 1999. We have treasured these every year since our first Christmas together as we have reminisced about the time and effort and patience that Erna put into crafting such gifts.
