Dr. Ernest H. Agresti Jr., went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2016 after a brief illness. Dr. Ernest was a family physician. He had his initial practice in Erie, PA at Lakecrest Family Physicians with his two sisters, who are also in family practice; he worked as Emergency Room physician as well. While he resided in Erie, he was a sports physician for Erie's "Little Gridders", and the Mercyhurst Basketball Team. He moved to California, where he continued his private practice in family medicine, with his sisters for the last 27 years. He was preceded in death by his father Ernest Agresti Sr., and his mother Theresa (Bifulco) Agresti. He is survived by his wife Michele (Bernhardt) Agresti and two daughters Christina and Gabriella Agresti, as well his two sisters Dr. Tina Agresti and Dr. Linda Agresti. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews throughout the country, as well as dear friends. He was a graduate of Gannon University and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts are with Ernie's family. May he Rest In Peace. He was a terrific, generous person and physician. He always had a smile and hug for me. He is missed. Regards, Mark and Gary Schneider, class of 76

Hey, Ernie! Mike Potter here. I recently received word that God needed your help more than many here in Earth. Though iur oath was brief I truly enjoyed our journey. Our conversations on government issues, healthcare, wellness, your broken ankle, just to name a few always brought insight and a laugh.

I'll miss our special conversations and you contagious smile and warming hug.

Mike

My family were patients of the Agrestis' medical practice since 1990; Dr. Ernie was my physician for almost my entire life. I am so grateful for his hard work and compassion. He was a blessing to our family and the people of our community. My prayers and we the best for his family. Rest In Peace, Dr. Ernie!

I hadn't been to the doctor in awhile due to finances but he was my physician. I just found out. It breaks my heart. He was so very kind and loving. I could not have asked for a better doctor. I will miss him.

Ernie is a beautiful man

Dr. Ernie has been my family's doctor for approximately 10 years. I will miss him dearly as he was such a great doctor and always treated me as though I was a family member each visit. His waiting room was always full and it was because there were many folks waiting to see the Big E! I will miss you and I wish you a safe journey.

May God bless and comfort each of you as you have blessed all of us. We too only heard of Ernie's passing and cannot begin to tell you what a blessing he has been to our family for well over 19 years. An amazing man! It has been an honor to have him in our lives. May God's love comfort each of you and, in time, joyful memories unfold.

I just heard about Ernie; My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Agresti family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. God bless you all.

Dr. Ernie was a great doctor with a great big heart and the persistence to get a hold of specialists if I couldn't when working for him. He was kind-hearted, taking whatever time necessary with his patient at the time, thorough, and extremely giving of himself. I have never had a doctor, let alone worked with one, or in this case three, that so loved the profession they chose and in helping others. What saints! His wife and two daughters were so loved, and just to listen and watch him with...
