As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

April, we often talked about how blessed and proud we were to have you for a daugther. I know he told you that as well. You were always the sunshine of his life.

I pray that the peace of God comfort you during this time of bearevement and that you take comfort in knowing that Ernie Alvis will be fondly remembered as an important member of the East Cleveland City School story.

Goldie, April I am so sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Alvis Family,I'm truly sorry for your loss. Mr. Alvis was a great man and teacher who will be surely missed. I had the pleasure of knowing him as one of my favorite teachers and as my summer job supervisor, those where great times. May God bless you and yours through this time of need.
