I am a military widow who had the honor of having SgtMaj Arthur as a landlord in NC, and as a friend. He investigated 2 deliberate pay wrongs against my husband, while he was SgtMaj for the 2nd Mar Div. I'm so sorry for your loss. I served with the Sargent Major in Beirut. I was the COs driver and spent many nights playing acey deucy with him in the "Root". He was the greatest leader and best role model I ever had. He will be greatly missed. Semper FiD M Elrod Sgt. 79-83
