Not sure what to say?

I had contacted cousin earnest a few times at his radio station. I even sent him a demo tape I made. He was nice to talk to on the phone. My parents were Sadie and Melvin Henderson. Goldie and Edgar Brown were my grandparents. I told him a story of one day at Opryland we went George Jones concert and he was calling for Earnest to come on stage. I told cousin Earnest this story and he told me it was because he loaned his passes out so the computer showed Earnest was there. He tried to get a...

Wanda Ashworth-Stafford / Tennessee
RIP Beautiful lady
Thank you Wanda and Ernie for sharing a fun time in Tennessee !
Loved the Grand Ole Oprea!

Uncle Ernie: I really miss you. You are the one who made me recognize the beauty of country music. Every time I hear one of your songs I get tears in my eyes. I know that you're in heaven making music for Granddaddy, grandmommy, Mom, Aunt Wanda, Aunt Betty, and Uncle James.

I feel blessed to have known Ernie.
He performed on several shows
that I produced over the years
here in PA. Always pleasant
and whenever I visited Nashville
was always very kind. He will be
missed.

In July, 1970, I met Ernie while I worked at WKYT-TV Tv in Lexington, Kentucky, where Jim and Jesse McReynolds taped their syndicated tv show. Ernie was a guest there and he and I sat in the lobby of the tv station and watched the baseball All-Star game while he waited to tape his "guest' segment. I'll never forget it--or him. God Bless his family. Barry Peel

Ernie and Bettye Rose have been
friends of ours over 10 yrs. Bettye
and I were like Sisters, she even
called me Sis.They have stayed at
our house here in Texas and we at
theirs in Hartsville. Bob is from Nashville and we would always visit
them, we loved them very much.
I was awards chairman for LSSCMA
and that was one of the many
awards he received in his career.
I drove Floyd Tillman as he was also
receiving an award and Ernie would
say so many times how...
