Not sure what to say?

My Uncle Ernest was a very special person to me. We went on a cruise together several years ago and had such a good time. He was always very supportive in encouraging me in my goals. I often look at photos of my uncle and miss him but I am happy I had the honor of knowing this very wonderful man.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your loved one. May reflecting on all the good times you've shared together help ease the pain that you now feel. May the God of all comfort strengthen you during this time of sadness and His promise for the future bring you peace. (Hosea 13:14)

To the family,

I express my deepest condolences at this time of sorrow. I pray for your strength as each day passes. Continue to reflect on the memories that brought so much joy. Seek refuge in the God of all comfort and he will sustain you.

Thank you, Tio, for all the wonderful memories and advice you gave us growing up - always with a smile on your face. RIP - you deserve it for all the good work you have done. We will all miss your earthly presence but know we will see you once again. Love you - your niece, Cecilia

Mr Ayala (top) EV Dem Club

When I think of Mr Ayala, all of the "goodness" from my life in Eureka Valley comes flooding back. I remember walking up the hill in a pack of kids eating candy with him once-he got a kick out of us!
The last time I visited with him was at one of the EV dances. After reading this lovely obit I pulled out photos of The Eureka Valley Democratic Club the year Kennedy ran-what a treasure.
Mike, Darlene and Joe my heart goes out to you and yours at this tender time.
RIP Mr Ayala...

Chuck was a great friend of the Asian community as well as a supporter of the Asian community and of faculty rights at City College. He was a great Democrat and fought for civil rights for minority communities. But, above all, he was a kind and considerate gentleman who always had a smile and kind word for everyone. I will miss him, the Democratic Party will miss him, the city will miss him. Goodbye Chuck, and thank you.

May this light light the world for the great memories of your dad
