I am sorry to hear the lost of Mr. Baldiviez. I was able to attend Ernie's funeral but just found out about this yesterday by father Abie Gonzalez. I am sorry I did not know about this earlier. I would have attended the services. I remember Mr. Baldiviez through many occasions that my parents attended. So sorry to hear about Ernie´s passing. When I came to teach at St. Joseph he was already a legendary softball coach. I never much cared for the sport until he made it exciting with the style they played and winning ways. I was privileged to teach Carolyn and see her move on to great things. I apologize for missing his services as I just heard the news. I imagine it was a Santa Maria celebration for the ages. He was respected, admired and loved by this community.

Memories of Ernie will always be remembered. The BLT reunions were so much fun back in the day. Ernie always made you feel welcomed and he was always interested in what you were doing.
