I was very sad to learn of Buddy Bass' death. My first wife, Betty Biernbaum, was a nurse in his practice, being hired by Pinckney Harper. Back in the late '70s or early '80s, we had a very bad snowstorm and Buddy drove his large vehicle over to our house to pick up Betty for work. He was an amazing guy and will be sorely missed.
