Together on Lorene's Wedding Day

Our dearest sister-in-law, Dianne, nephews:"Pig", Brian and E.J.and baby girl "Bert Bert":

My heart cries out to you Lord,
this load seems too much to bear,
Even though times may be hard,
We still feel your presence there.

We feel confused and all alone Lord,
For you we have tried to live,
For you we have tried to give,
Why must we endure this hurt Lord,
oh! it is so hard.

Have mercy on us oh Lord,
even when it feels as though our enemies have come...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. My sister (Dorothy Epps) and brother in-law have been member of his church for a long time. And I attended service once with them and met Reverend Battle.

Aunt Dianne, Zonte, Brian, Geberta, EJ, and my entire FAMILY,
Words cannot begin to express the emotions that we are all feeling at this time. I pray everyday for you all that God will not only comfort you but that He will also continue to strengthen you in the days to come. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of Uncle Ernest and miss his laugh and his jokes but I know that if I live this life to live again then I shall see him again one day. Aunt Dianne you said it best...

To the Battle Family Dianne, Geberta and EJ. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Alway trust in the Lord.

With Love

To Dianne and Family
I just want you to know that my prays are with you. Continue to stay strong. God won't put no more on us than we can bare. Pastor Battle was a good man and he is in heaven now smiling down on you. I will keep intouch. My sister (Mary) and I will be planning trips and including you and Carol. God bless you and your family and always remember Phil. 4:6 Cast all of your cares upon the Lord for he cares for you.

Pastor Battle, I will truly miss you. You were like a second father to me. I remember when you baptized me when I was 5...20 yrs. ago and you asked me then, did I believe that Christ was my Savior and I replied yes. I still believe that and know that he was your Savior as well. All though it's hard to accept that you are gone, I know that God needed you to help keep things together upstairs *smile*. I love you and you can't do nothing about it.
Ma Dianne and Family- I love you all...
