BEAR, Ernest Edward "Smokey," 78, of Goochland, Va., entered eternal rest after a long illness on May 4, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Waldrop Bear. He is also survived by one daughter, Donna Marie; two grandsons, Edward (Rose) Clements and Dylan Youngblood; one great- grandson, Edward Clements Jr.; sister, Carolyn Rickman; close cousin, Lester Roberts; special niece, Elizabeth "Jencey" Jones; and special nephew, James "J.J." Waldrop Jr. Family will receive friends Friday, May 6, 2011 at Norman Funeral Home, Goochland, Va., from 4 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Perkins Baptist Church, 3146 Hadensville-Fife Rd., at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7.
