Read MoreWhenver I think of Uncle Ernie, it always brings a smile. He was "larger than life" to me as a child. I will always remember the great times at his cabin at Great East Lake. He made my whole family feel at home as his guests for over 10 years.
I always enjoyed his safari and fishing stories. He will be missed by his many friends and family.

We never met "Uncle Ernie", but know of many stories about his hat's, the lake he built and several tails of woe. He was a very special person who will be saddly missed.

My grandparents (Richardson)owned a summer house on Belleau lake and my Uncle still lives up there. As kids we spent the whole summer up there. Lots of great times. I am sorry for the families loss.
