I´m so sorry to hear of Ernie´s passing - what a kind man he was. Great neighbor, great family friend, and a true blessing to humanity through the research he has done. Our deep condolences to Louise, Kristin, Sandra, and your family.

I worked for Dr. Borden as his Administrative Assistant from aproximately 83-87 at the Carbone Cancer Center. He was the hardest working person I ever had worked for so he kept me busy. The interferon clinical trials were really running in full gear at that time. There was never any down time that's for sure but at the end of the day we would walk out to our cars and I drove a Saab and he drove a British MG convertible Midget. Being the tall man he was I found it interesting he would fit....

Only happy memories of our years of mutual support, fun and travel with Louise and Ernie with the Bowyers.
