Not sure what to say?

Last Sunday I was looking through the newspaper trying to find my grandfather's obituary and "Ernie's" caught my eye. I was deeply moved by his obituary. He seemed as if he was surrounded by many people who loved him. Please except my deepest sympathy, but know that he has effected many people, some who he didn't even know. Although I may not go to Vegas I will try to have the same zeal for life as he had, as was conveyed in his obituary.

Ernie has gone a little too early.

I remember the story his nephew told me about how Ernie put a toy snake in the golf ball washer and when his buddy went to wash his ball, well....he had a few choice words for Ernie!

In all of the years I have known him, I have never seen him angry...he always thought he was mad, but he would start laughing before he even could get his angry speech out.

Our sincere sympathy to all of his family for the loss of Ernie.

I read Ernie Jr.'s sentiments about his dear Dad Ernie Sr. and remembered spending time with him at Sammy's birthday party earlier this year. He was happy and in love with life.

I will remember and honor Ernie Sr. by doing my best to "have an unwavering positive attitude and sense of humor". His love of life and family was an example of a life well lived.

My deepest thoughts of support and love go out to the entire Bornheimer family and to anyone who had the good...

Brenda, my thoughts are with you over the loss of your dad.

It was my honor and pleasure to have known you and worked with you.

We will always treasure happy memories of our many golf days together. Best wishes to Tria and the family.

A beautiful sentiment written by his son, Ernie Jr. for a man who did, indeed, live life to its fullest, each and every moment. I'm not much of a gambler, but in his honor, I could drop a few... My love to you, Ernie senior, and warm blessings to your family and friends who have become better people for having shared their time and love with you.
