Ernie was a very special man, who always made you feel welcome & appreciated. His tender, loving nature showed through in all he did. Sharing stories about the Iron Pigs ball games, the Eagles football team, H.S. class reunions or gardening, he was in touch with us. He certainly made Jim's life & final days special. God Bless your family with wonderful memories of the very special gentleman that you were.

Sam and I were deeply saddened to learn of Ernie's passing. We always enjoyed our time at the THS '62 picnic, albeit short, with you both...remembering the olde days, engaging in hardy "political" conversations and last, but not least, glimpsing back to those Lafayette days.
What a great team you were!!...and so deservedly proud of your children's accomplishments. We wish you strength at this time and hope the good memories will provide solace.
