Thank you Ernie for everything you did for me. I remember our talks when we used to work in your yard. I will always remember you.

Mr. Cory was such a blessing to the Young Family . I remember my grandparents telling me stories of him . They would always say how nice of a person he was . My sincere condolences !

Vivian I´m so sorry for your loss. It´s so hard to walk the path you´re walking. Put your trust in the LORD he is the defender of widows and father to the fatherless. Praying for you and your family. I´m saddened to hear of Ernie´s passing. We were classmates in 7th and 8th grades. Then I had the pleasure of working for him for 8 years much later. I remember in the 8th grade he sold candy at school and I just knew he would be the President of the US someday. He may not have been as I thought he would be but he was a fair man and was loved dearly. So happy to know I will see him again someday!! Much Love and sympathies to family and loved ones! As for my legal career, I would be nothing without Ernie Cory and Leila Watson. Ernie hired THIS young 25 year old black man when NO ONE else would. He didn't immediately hand me the keys; he wanted to see my work ethic. As i did, he allow me to grow with the firm; encouraging me to become a paralegal in the firm...allowing me to be the professional I am today. GOD bless you Ernie Cory, You will definitely be missed. Ernie was one of the most caring, generous people I ever met. Whenever Cumberland School of Law needed support for a new initiative, Ernie was first in line to help, not only with financial support but also with his time and expertise.
