Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear that Ernest has passed away. My dad, Charles Bates, was Ernest's first cousin. His mother was Ora Whiteaker. My mother, Louise, and I visited the Crows about 15 years ago while we were in Colorado. He and your mom were such gracious hosts. We used to talk family history quite a bit.

Dr. Crow was a gracious, generous and gifted man. He taught so many doctors so much. Some of the most precious pearls he taught can not be found in books but can only be learnt by spending time with this gentle giant of a physician. His genuine caring for his patients and colleagues, his ever-present smile, his infinite ability to share of himself, his dedication to the betterment of the medical school can only spring from a great well of goodness.
My sincere condolences to the...

Your family has experienced too many personal losses, now with the passing of Ernie and James. Our sincere condolences go out to all the family, students, patients, and friends the Crows impacted over the years.
We will miss the kindnesses extended to Friends University over the years and the advice given oh so generously and gently.

Sending my deepest sympathy and condolences on Dr. Ernie's passing. He and Bertie were dear friends of our family. May God grant you all peace during this difficult time.

My admiration for Dr. Crow began when I was referred to him 44 years ago. He worked for the Internal Medicine Associates.

At the time, they only gave me three months to live. Through his determination, skill and ability he saved my life. I was his patient for 21 years until he retired. He was also consulted with while he was working at K U Medical Center.

My family and I are eternally grateful for the exceptional extraordinary care and perseverance that saved my life.

Dr. Crow took great care of my mother after a triple bypass and kept her alive 14 years longer. He was very kind when she was near the end and called the whole family in to explain and prepare us. He was a blessing. SO sorry for his families loss.
