Not sure what to say?

I worked closely with Ernie and Jack Kelly on the '86 Olympic Festival as a member of the Mayor's staff. I treasure our time together starting with a trip to the USOC to lobby for the festival, through its successful conclusion. He was a true gentleman, an inspiring leader, and a force of nature. He will be remembered.

Goodbye Ernie, I hope tp see you in the next world.

Ernie's obituary highlighted a great life. We became friends when I was a Senior VP under him years ago, and he selected me to work with him on the Olympic Committee. Ernie, my wife and I also visited a few years ago during a San Miguel trip. And now after 90 years, he has ended a very honorable experience.

On behalf of all Wilde families we send our condolences to Terry, Sarah, Matt, and Jennifer. For Decades the families were inseparable be it in North Carolina, Point Venture, or Woods Edge Lane. The Big E was always kind and his love for his family was contagious.

Hope we can be with all of you to say again how much sharing life's journey with "Easy," Mary Louise, and all of you is a special treasure the Browns shall remember. With love to all, Sidney and Lew

God bless and prayers to the family. Our Fannin days with Ernie were so awesome because of his remarkable leadership. It was an honor to call him a dear friend. Love and prayers, Judy and Lee

Mr. Deal was a fine gentleman . I coached his daughter Sarah and he was always the supportive Dad.

Ernie was a very sweet, gentle, gentleman. I have had the honor of visiting with him at events in San Miguel, over the past few years. He deserves this peace in Heaven that he now experiences, although his family will miss him greatly.
