Not sure what to say?

My whole family appreciates Dr. Debakey's care and concern for my Mother Nellie Pomeroy. We all loved him. My Mother and Daddy considered him a friend as well as a wonderful doctor.

What a loss for all of us who learned so much about intent, honor, and quality. My deepest sympathies to Ms. Marsha and the whole family.

I worked as a nurse in Mobile Infirmary OR with Dr. Debakey as a student nurse and a RN and he taught me more that any book could, but he also taught me respect, honor, and love for the patients and nurses he had. There was times the nurses didn't understand him, but I think it was his concern was so great for his patients that it showed. HE was and always will be a great tribute to the medical field.

My deepest sympathy to Dr. DeBakey's family.I was his patient many year's ago.He was the greatest Dr. and person I have ever met! He will be sorely missed in the community. My deepest condolences are with the family as you grieve.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Dr. DeBakey. However, I am friends with his daughter Elizabeth. She is a wonderful and caring individual. I am sure she inherited those traits, in part, from her Father. The DeBakey family has always put others before themselves. The Medical Profession was enriched with his professionalism and participation in caring for the health needs of the community.

We have admired Dr.DeBakey's long and fruitful medical career and his warmth and friendliness.

Dr. DeBakey was such a special friend and doctor to my family. He gave such tender care to my parents. I will always be grateful for the support he gave to all of us over the years. Our deepest sympathy to all of his family.
Sincerely,
Jim and Eileen Zoghby Wishon

Dr. Debakey was like a father to me. He cared so much about the people that matter the most, his patients. He has left a legacy and I am forever greatful for having had the opportunity to share in his life. The Lord satisfied Dr. Debakey with long life and he indeed lived everyday to the fullest. My deepest sympathy to Marsha and the rest of the family he will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to the family and may God bless him.
