Read MoreErnie and I worked together and remained friends for decades after. I typically called him every year on or around his birthday. A few years ago I called and recognized something wasn´t quite right then I was no longer able to reach him. Glad to finally find an obit and although belated my prayers are with his family and friends he loved so much.
