Not sure what to say?

Dr. Dernburg, It´s Christmas 2025, one year ago Dre became a father. It just occurred as we celebrated his son´s 1st birthday he was born on the day you left for your final adventure. How in the world! The Universe takes one and brings us another. It doesn´t surprise me and I don´t believe it to be a coincidence. You are connected to our family forever

Holidays are a great time to reflect on fun times. I have such fond memories of you Ernie! I am so grateful to have worked with you. You are missed and will never be forgotten.

We miss you Ernie! As we do every year, we offered a toast to you and kind words and thoughts at our annual holiday dinner. You will always be missed and remembered as one of the kindest people I have ever known.

Its 2021, and not a day goes by that I don’t go to my tool kit for strength and possibilities. One of the boys sent me a Twitter post from a billionaire youngster today - it goes like this:

Contacts 0
Money 0
Power 0

Resiliency
Desire
Drive
Grit

Mom, I love you!

Even in the darkest time you always assured me you will get out of...

Thinking of my friend on his 84th birthday! Happy birthday! I miss you so very much!

Ernie (Ernst) and his younger brother, Michael (Misha), living next door and became instant friends. Ernie and I grew up together until the Dernbergs moved to Beverly Hills about nine years later. Through the Dernberg family I began to learn about religion and politics. The Jewish family had escaped Hitler’s Germany almost too late, spent a brief...

Ernie is greatly missed and often remembered. A group of us get together at holiday time and always toast Ernie and remember the fun times we shared. We miss you Ernie!

Happy Hanukkah Dr. Dernburg! Dr. Dernburg is always in my thoughts around the holidays. I remember he would take vacation around this time of year and, if memory serves, would go to Switzerland sometimes. In 1971, when I was 16, the Christmas of my first year seeing him, he gave me two books before he left for Switzerland, Dune by Frank Herbert and The Plague by Camus. Over these many years, I am still grateful for his kindness and thoughtfulness and positive example.
