I remember Uncle Ernie fir being a man´s man in the image of Teddy Roosevelt. Pious, a family man, avid outdoorsman, public servant, intellectual, gregarious - the type of man thus world needs. I remember visiting with him, Aunt Marie, Karen, Ernie, Robert, Mark, Ronald, and David with a rare family trip out of Wisconsin (summer 1968) to spend time together as families in the house on Cayuga Lake. Dr. and Mrs. Fernandez will always be in our hearts with wonderful memories of their family and close friendship with my parents. He will be remembered by many and we will continue to reminisce about their times together with my mom who sends her deepest condolences.
