Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege to work with Ernie and then eventually with his wife Katy. He always told me what an amazing teacher she was. We became teaching partners for many years. So, Ernie and I also became friends. He would be very proud of his sons and their families. You are missed Ernie.

Ernie was a special man who was always there to help others. He always spoke about his wife, Katy and I had the privilege to work with her and eventually became friends. I wished Ernie could have seen his sons' grandchildren as he would have loved them. He is missed.

Ernie was always kind and caring. We worked together for less than a year and he was the always the gentleman. Eventually, I worked with his wife, Katy and he would come to school on Valentine's Day to deliver her a bouquet of roses.
He passed much too young but my memories of him will live in my heart and of course, the stories about his love of 'stuff.'

Mr. Ferrero was my 4th grade teacher at Brookside School. 1972. It was one of my favorite years because of him. He was a dedicated, kind-hearted, caring person. I don't know how to describe other that to say I did not feel like just another student in his class.

We immediately struck up a friendship due to his sense of humor and interest in bowling. We joined the bowling team representing Brookside School for the "Good" Old Newark School District. No matter how awful our team bowled I just remember Ernie laughing. He kept us all upbeat due to his laughter. Ernie continued to share his...

Had Mr Ferraro as a reading teacher at West Park Elementry school for third grade. Great teacher. My condolences to his family.

I remember Mr. Ferrero as my 4th grade teacher at West Park Elementary School back in 1999-2000. I can recall preparing for the spelling bee in his class. My condolences to all of his family and friends. It is never easy to lose a loved one.

Mr. Ferraro was one of my all time favorite teachers, he had a way of making learning fun!!!

Uncle Ernie was one of a kind! We always enjoyed his visits to Florida ... His fun spirit, his love of family and his love for shopping at Kmart...So many memories , you will be missed xoxo
