Ernest A. Fodo

I've worked at the VA for 12 years and I knew Ernest for most of it. From Akron to Brecksville to Wade Park I was always fortunate enough to run into Ernest and spend time with him. Whether we were talking about his family, mine, sports or horse racing I always enjoyed our conversations thoroughly. Some of my fondest VA memories will be lunch with Ernest in Brecksville, I've never met a kinder man with a better heart. I will truly miss one of the most warm, sincere smiles I have ever known....

Ernie was such a sweet person ....enjoyed being his nurse.He was proud to have served our country and loved his family .

Sorry to hear about Ernie passing away. He was always smiling and had a happy disposition. Please accept my condolences.

My thoughts and prayers to everyone. I'm very glad that sawyer and I got to spend time with Ernie after Christmas. I will always remember the proud and joyful smile he wore when taking Sawyer for a ride around the rehab center. I will treasure it always. RIP Ernie. We love you!

So sorry for your loss. I met Ernie in Dialysis Center. He always made us laugh even when we didn't feel like it. I know we will all miss him. Thanks for the laughter .Your friends Cindy and David Bauerbach
