I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Garcia at the Garcia Center for the Arts. He was an amazing person. He inspired me to become an Educator. He shared with me how important it is to give back to our community. Dr. Garcia will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Dr. Garcia opened doors for so many throughout his career. His advocacy to expand access to education for underserved communities was tremendous. A proud son of South Colton and an inspiring legacy.
