Not sure what to say?

To Ernie's family and loved one's,
I only learned of Ernie's passing recently and like many other's have fond memories of my friendship with Ernie during our high school years and beyond. We spent much time together as teamates on the LHS wrestling team and Ernie would always find a way to keep things in perspective both in sport and life. Outside of school we shared many laughs while experiencing life in Bethlehem.

While I have lived out of the area for many, many years, we would...

Dear Gonzalez Family,
I have known Ernie from Lafayette for many years. Every time I saw him somewhere on campus, it was like seeing an old friend. He was completely lacking in pretense and was a genuine kind person. Sincere condolences on your loss.

carol,
My heart is filled with grief. I will miss Ernie so much. He was such a good person. The world won't be the same without him. Your in my thoughts and prayers

I met Ernie at NCACC where we wrestled together. He and I quickly became best of friends for some time and had many great times together. He was a legend with his wrestling skills and I was proud to be able to know him.
I left the Lehigh Valley many years ago however my parents saw him a number of times in Easton and he was so excited to hear about me.
I am sadden by your loss and my prayers are with your family.

Carole,
Words cannot express how much Ernie meant to us. He was a true inspiration to John and helped him in more ways than we will ever know. Having Ernie in our lives has blessed us in many ways and each day we are thankful to have known him. He is truly a gift from God and so happy we were able to share that gift.

Love,
John, Corey and Madison Roman

Carole and Family,
I,m so sorry to here about Ernie. I'll miss talking to him. He was a great person and will be sadly missed by anyone that knew him. My thoughts are with all of you.

The Lafayette College community is greatly diminished by the passing of Ernie. His warmth, friendship, and willing smile was a joy and a spot of sunshine. I'm so privileged to have known him enough to have experienced that for myself. We could all learn so much from his warmth and positive attitude. God bless...

To Carol and the Other Members of Ernie's Family -

It is with very great sadness that I learned of Ernie's passing. Ernie was a really, really great guy who I will miss a great deal. He was always welcoming, with a warm greeting and a big smile when we crossed paths at our mutual place of employment (Lafayette). I'll always remember fondly the time my wife and I, and a mutual friend, shared with Ernie years ago on a two day sail from VA to NY. May Peace be with Ernie, as well as...

Dear Carole,
I have worked with Ernie for many years. The presence on campus isn't the same without him. I miss his smile, personality and advise. Ernie will always be on patrol with me at the college and in my heart.
