Not sure what to say?

Dr. Earnest Graves was my older brother in the ministry of our Lord. He along with our father in the ministry, Pastor Thompson, D.Min were together examples of godly men. Peter Ward, D.Min

I had the privilege to hear him preach on Mother's Day and to break bread the day after.

Ernest will never be forgotten . A very dear friend. An honest man. Devoted to those in which he embraced . Cant believe it has been 6 years.

I just learned of Docs passing as I was searching for his phone number on the internet. I dont possess the words to describe how extraordinary he was. He was like a second father to me. He inspired me to change my life. To become a stronger and better person. Doc taught me to trust in God and in turn people around me. I am forever changed because of our meeting and ensuing friendship. I was an inmate at DCI 30 years ago. I know his passing is tragic to everyone who knew him.

Ernie (we called his name like this as we grew up together) will always remain in my heart and mind as a friend. We shared much time together while in high school and when I returned from military service. Memories of Ernie and neighborhood friends i.e., Robert Turner, Robert Brown, Irvin Smith and I just growing up together will be cherished. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Ernie will be missed by all who knew him.
