Not sure what to say?

To the family of Ernie I realize since finding this site Ernie left us years ago, but I wanted to share my deep respect for Ernie and how he helped me. I spoke with him before I retired quite a few years ago, but didn't keep in touch with Ernie and many others I knew for decades when I retired - it wasn't because I didn't like them, I was just worn out and frazzled from the decades as an auditor and Command audit manager. In retrospect, I recall the many discussions Ernie and I had over...

Dearest Hanna,

I am so sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am hoping that by now Ernie has met up with my Mom and she is making some alcapurrias for him and they are having a joyus visit. May God bless you and your family and know that I am a phone call away.

With sympathy and love during this difficult time.

Love always,
Rose (Eppie's daughter)

Dear Ernie and family- Though we lost touch long ago please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during what I know first hand is a difficult time.

Johanna and Family,

My deepest sympathy at the death of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. In his high school yearbook, he said he wanted to do twice as much as anyone expected. He reached his goal and well beyond! His wonderful sense of humor and his great stories made him delightful to be around. We will all miss him.
Unfortunately, I am out of town, so I will be unable to make it to the funeral. But, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Johanna - you are all in my thoughts.

For my Friend - "ERN"

He touched so many people in his own unique way. My mind still drifts back to recall the times we were together during those early years and though his passing saddens me, I am comforted by knowing he is...
