Grandpa!!!! Oh I´ve been thinking of you a lot lately & continue to wonder how life would be if you, grandma & dad were still here in person with all of us! Miss your energy & your jokes. I know you´re having a blast with all the family though! Miss you grandpa! Love u always

I continue to think of Ernie and Miriam daily as I walk past their home in Fleetwood, NC. Special and loving people never totally leave their friends.

I think of Ernie every time I walk by his summer home in Fleetwood Falls. I think of the wonderful apple-squeezin' parties he and Miriam hosted. I think of his faith in God and people. He could tell a good story too and his laugh was infectious. Ernie and Miriam are sorely missed by our neighborhood.

Knowing Ernie from time spent in Fleetwood Falls was pleasant. His sense of humor was entertaining and one felt relaxed in his and Miriam's company. My condolences to Miriam and family.

Ernie was my pastor when my family joined OBPC in 1962. Judy was one of my best friends, so I got to know Ernie as both a dad and a spiritual leader. He and Miriam were close family friends, always ready to jump on their bicycles and ride over if there was ever a need. Ernie officiated at my wedding and baptized my son. I will never forget his sense of humor and his constant friendship with my family.
Ernie and Miriam were always welcoming to us in both Fleetwood, NC and Ormond...

Dear Haddad Family, I remember lsitening to Rev Haddad many a SUnday morning. He was the best. My deeepst sympathies to his family.

This wonderful man was my first spiritual father. The Haddads were there for me when my mom died. Ormond Beach Presby was my home during a troubled time in the 70s. He is a beautiful soul who will teach me to play tennis when we all get to heaven. What a day that will be.

I have so many wonderful memories of Rev. Haddad. My family joined Ormand Beach Presbyterian in 1963 when I was 3 years old and I recall rev. Haddad coming to the nursery and telling all the children bible stories. All the youth group events. Him taking us to so many different places of worship (Southern Baptist, Jewish, Greek Orthodox, Catholic) so that we understood that we are all one people worshiping one God, and that we can all reach for him in different ways. I have so many wonderful...
