Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Ernie. What a life he has lived and what a great example to all of us. Our thoughts and prayer are with all of the family and we join with you in rejoicing in the knowledge that we will see him again as promised by He who made it possible. Until such time may memories temper the sorrow of his passing and may our lives be as service oriented as was his.

I remember when Grandma Henderson passed, Uncle Ern said to me, "What a glorious reunion she must be having right now." I can't help but think he is now doing the same. Uncle Ern was such a family man and I respected and loved him dearly. He was always so sweet and loving with my mom and took such good care of her and Doyle when they needed it. I can never repay him or Aunt Noan for their sacrifices on my mom's behalf, but will be forever grateful.

Nonnie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I wish you all peace and comfort.

Ernie was a good friend that goes back to when we were neighbors in Granger where we raised our children. The last time I saw him was in June 2012, but actually talked with him on the phone a few times thereafter. He will be missed by not only his wonderful wife, Wynona and family, but by all the friends he made throughout the years. May God be with you in this time of sorrow. Dolly Willis Derbidge
