My first encounter with Fritz was when I was in South Carolina as Miss Sun Fun Maine 1960. When presenting him with a gift from My Gov Reed,I gently tried to kiss him on his cheek, but he turned his head and caught me full upon, which became the famous "Buss" as you all call it in the South! So funny.Relieved we both had humor within!
He was such a gentleman, and I admired his thoughts for the South which he shared with me when I became Miss Sun Fun USA, and represented the Grand Strand...
