Not sure what to say?

After moving to California I had the opportunity to visit my friends Ernie and Gaye on one of my trips home. Ernie was truly one of the finest men I have known, a loving and devoted husband and father who lived his life as a man of God, truly an example to all. Sending my love to Gaye.

EJ and Gaye have been our dear friends for decades! We loved and admired EJ for all the wonderful qualities he exemplified! A man of great talent, a loving husband and father, a man of faith, an outstanding attorney and a truly great friend! We will treasure his memory and all the great times we enjoyed together. Rest in Peace, EJ. God bless and comfort Gaye and all of their beautiful family. We love you!

I served as a Law Clerk with Ernie while attending law school and practiced law with him for 32 years as a friend and Law Partner retiring in 2015. I learned a lot from him and valued our friendship. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his Widow Gaye and her Family.

I am so sorry to have learned of Ernie´s demise. I knew Ernie professionally for over 30 years. I admired his integrity, tenacity, persistence and professionalism as an attorney. I will miss seeing and greeting him at the Stetson Christmas party this year. My sincere condolences to Ernie´s Wife and children. He was a kind and wonderful man , who will be missed.

I am so sorry to learn of Ernie's passing. I have memories of him and I attending USF together and driving to and from Tampa, a lot of times together. He talked me in to taking the LSAT in 1968 which has resulted in me practicing law for 48 years. He mentored a bunch of us at the outset of our legal careers, Jim Fischer and Mark Shames, including several others. He will be missed in the legal community that he has occupied for over half a century. He was a great family man and to be...
