Jan and Family,

I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. I enjoyed reading about his life and work in the obituary...what a great man he must have been. Our thoughts are with you and I pray for your peace and comfort.

Vivian, I have kept up with the daily reports sent out by your girls. Such an inspiration to know all the activities going on and knowing that the goals Ernest set for himself were accomplished. Clyde and I want to express our condolences. Although your loss makes it a sad time for you and your family, we join you in celebrating the life of Ernest. The two of you have touched the lives of so many by sharing your faith everywhere you have lived. Clyde and I have a new perspective on life and death after reading and studying the book: "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. You will continue to be in our prayers. Love and prayers.

You and your family are in our prayers in the loss of Ernest. He lived a full and meaningful life and touched a multitude of lives in a positive way. We treasured our friendship with the two of you and have fun memories of tail gating at University of Illinois football games. We also join you in celebrating his life and ministry.
