Not sure what to say?

Remembering my cousin and all the fun we had in Brookston as kids...thinking of you all

Sincere sympathy to the Nelson family. I remember my cousin fondly while growing up on the Nelson farm in Brookston, PA. The relatives had great get-to-gethers during the summer months and haying season and we were all little cousins together. I am sorry he is gone but know that he is in a better place and at peace.

Doug, so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I'm sure he sat across the table from my Uncle Al who passed on July 2. I think you and I even exchanged a few words when we happened to be visiting at the same time. You looked familiar to me but I couldn't quite place you. (I "belong" to Amy and Kevin - Amy's mom.) Now they can have meals together again!

The Nelson Family,
Doug, You Have my Deepest Sympathy for the Loss of your Father and Ernest is in Heaven with our Lord. God Bless.

At his last breath, he stood before his Lord Who said to him, "Ernie, enter in thou good and faithful servant!"

Ernie was our most senior Past Grand Patriarch ('80-'81) and was very active in the Order until the last decade. by Grand Scribe Craig Reinhart

The Valley of Erie Scottish Rite extends our sympathy to the family of Brother Ernie. His Scottish Rite motto "spes mea in Deo est" (my hope is in God) says it all.

My wife , Judy and Ernie's wife Molly were great friends. They also had worked together at Erie Infants Home. We also attended church with them. It was with sadness that we read of Ernie's death through Erie News on line. Our condolences and prayers go out to the family. Hunter and Judy Whitney, Frisco, TX.
