Ernest Poulson

What a stand up individual Ernest was. A life of compassion and caring for others and providing for those less fortunate. He set an example for others to achieve, including myself. A life well lived.

I have fond memories of Uncle Ernie. I appreciated his world view and opinions that made for lively conversation.
As a junior in high school (1968) he sparked my interest in computers by arranging for me to assist a professor at the U with a water modeling program.
He shared many wonderful stories at our family reunion (Dick and Fern Poulson Muir) several years ago. And he was always good to our mother - taking her out to lunch and visiting.
Sharing in your sadness as you remember...

Annie...we're in Coronado for the winter, but saw that your terrific Dad has passed on, and wanted to send a brief message. Ernie always asked how I was doing, and said " Dick, you were with Art
in Canada, weren't you?" Loved the man...hope you are well despite

Last fall, as my father was dying, Ernie came by to say goodbye to his friend and to offer comfort to our family.
His trademark booming voice, and tender heart will be missed.
He was a stalwart in the Sunrise family,our sympathies to you.
