Ribblett, Ernest Eugene “Gene,” 83, of Johnstown, passed away November 1, 2020.Born May 18, 1937 in Johnstown, he was the son of the late Ernest T. and Rose I (Gordon) Ribblett. He was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Ronald P. Ryan and Franklin J. Laslo. He is survived by his sisters R. Eileen Ryan of Johnstown and Betty J. Laslo, Stafford, Virginia; brothers Terry Ribblett and wife Ann, York; William Ribblett and wife Patricia, Manchester; David Ribblett and wife Catherine, Vail, AZ. Ernest also had 14 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew and many Ribblett, Felix and Grow cousins and numerous friends. Ernest served in the US Army. He retired from the Greater Johnstown Vocational &Technical School. He attended the Bethany Presbyterian Church. Services will be private for the family.
