I have been out of touch with Ernie for a couple years and just learned of his passing. He and I were involved in an investment club for a number of years. He had his own measured approach to investing, and he shared it openly with me and others. The other men and I would meet at one another's homes, and Ernie was always ready with coffee and pastry.
