To the Santos family: I was deeply saddened to learn of Ernie's passing. We used to play softball many years ago on the same team, and he was one of the best ballplayers ever in Plymouth. He once hit the longest homeruns I ever saw. We would see each other on occasion at the Cold Spring Club, and have some great memories to talk about.
