Not sure what to say?

Ernest was a great love of my life. We met at Kingsborough Community College and fell in love. He was 11 years older than me and there was no difference. We lived together for a number of years. We had great times together. My heart is saddened by his loss. Ernest was a fun loving guy who’d give you the shirt off his back. He will live in my memories!

I met Ernest about 42 years ago and considered myself one of his friends. We didn't see one another often and neither did we talk on a regular basis. However, when I called him or he called me the conversation would pick-up where we left off as if it was yesterday. He was charming, irascible, smart, loved his plants, animals and above all life. I'm sorry I missed my chance to tell him how much I really valued our friendship and what it's meant to me all these years. Miss and loved this very...

I’m still in shock. My brother from another mother. 50 years of true friendship. I still don’t believe we will never again meet up, have a few giggles, and talk about anything and everything over pastrami sandwiches. I know there’s an afterlife and it soothes my heart to know we will meet again. Love you my friend. Be in peace.

ernie and I were close since 1974..my son painted his cat ... bye ernie .... heart breaks...we had love

Ernie what can I say? We were Cheech and Chong back in the day when we shared an apartment on Neck Road. I'm filled with profound sadness over your passing but I also fondly remember the many fun filled times we had in our youth. You were one of a kind and I'll miss you for ever. Rest In Peace, my brother!
