"Papa", Ernie was a port of calm in the storm of life. His quiet strength was always reassuring. I can still see his impish grin and hear his gentle chuckle as he calmly rescued me from a dead mouse at the bottom of my basement stairs. His words were measured but so treasured. I will remember Uncle Ernie as a kind and gentle presence at family gatherings. I want to extend my condolences to Aunt Ruth as well as my cousins Kenneth, Carolyn and Paul. I am thinking of all of you with love, and gratitude that he had the support of all of you. He will be missed.
