Not sure what to say?

Just learning of Ernie's passing. I hadn't seen him for 34 years. He used to play at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick where I worked while a graduate student at Rutgers. He always encouraged me to continue my studies. He was a true leader and a gentleman.

Is this the Ernie Scott that played Piano for years at my mom's restaurant in Woodbridge NJ( the Gallery). Thomas Scarano

Ernie Scott was the most amazing influence in my life since he was my music teacher at Roosevelt School in Sayreville. He has remained my voice coach and adopted family member for all these many years. I will always treasure every time he has accompanied me and inspired me throughout all these years together. His teachings are both numerous and precious. In addition, he has shared his life with the most wonderful wife and children that are sure to carry on the legacy of this truly...

Ernie was a dear friend and fellow musician. Don't know how it took so long to hear of his death which saddens us. Condolences to Donna and family with apologies for being so late to share the sad news. (Lew and El)
