Ernest Smith

We're sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. We're sending prayers for his family and friends. Ernie was a great man, always wanting to help others with his positive attitude. Ernie also worked with our St. Vincent de Paul Society conference at St. Anthony. He did home visits with us and we supplied funding for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter food, prior to parish tithing. Ernie radiated love and care. He'll be missed.

Dear Smith famiy, We just want to extend a heartfelt sympathy to all of you. We grew up down the street. Ernie was a great friend to my parents who greatly miss him. I had the priveledge to work with Eve a few years. He raised a wonderful daughter. May you all feel Christ's peace & comfort as He wraps you in His loving arms , Barb (Liden) & Joe Bailey

I was Ernie’s secretary at Meijer got a while. What a kind and gentle man. I loved running into him at church or The Depot in Marne. We always greeted each other with a big hug and smiles. A truly awesome Christian man!

Eric and family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He was such a gentleman and devoted to his family and church. I admired his Christian character and always enjoyed chatting with him when we ran into each other traveling to do our job at various Meijer stores. He was an extraordinary man who is now reunited with your mom in heaven. Ernie was a true and faithful servant.
