Please accept our prayers and condolences on the loss of Mr. Ernest. When I was younger, my mom worked at Miller's Restaurant. It was a favorite coffee spot for the state troopers and local law enforcement. I worked there as a busboy and dishwasher. Your dad, Captain Pace, and all the other officers used to lecture me about driving. He was such a sweet man. Loved his laugh. Back then they did a program with the restaurants for Easter called Buck-a-cup. I helped pour many a cup of coffee for...

Ernie, Trae, & the rest of Uncle Ernest's immediate family. My prayers are with you all in the loss of your loved one. Uncle Ernest always made me laugh when I would stay at the old jail house as a very young girl, when Daddy, Uncle Vance, Aunt Carolina, & Uncle Ernest were all policemen/women. Time is a strange thing. Though that was so many years ago, it also almost seems like yesterday. I pray that God will give you comfort, peace, and guidance during the coming days and months to come....

Ernie and Trae, I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Ernest death. Although we had lost contact in recent years, he was always one of my favorite Uncles. I have many fond memories of us " cutting up" and just being silly when we all got together. I know that you guys will miss him terribly. You are In my thoughts and prayers. Please extend my sympathy to all of his family and friends. Sorry I missed your call Ernie. Love you
